About Vanity Exposed Clothing
Vanity Exposed Clothing was established in 2005.
It began with two friends taking pictures of bay area punk bands, mixed with
a crafting hobby of diy upcycle clothing creating & selling.
As those two interests took a back seat, Laura started a pin up tattoo inspired tee shirt company. Laura collaborated with tattoo artists from all over the world to come up with cool shirt designs. She even collaborated with a talented artist that created cartoon shorts for Nickelodeon. Laura grew up selling shirts at car shows since she could walk. Her family sold preprint shirts with hot rods and rat fink all over California and Laura loved to ride in her grandpa's 32' to car shows and sell shirts to hot rod enthusiasts. In her teen years she worked summers at the family's tee shirt shop in the bay area and learned how to bag and tag shirts and watch the process of silk-screening apparel.
In 2006 Laura and her husband John and their one-year-old son started selling Vanity Exposed Clothing shirts at car shows throughout California, and Vans Warped Tour in San Fransico. Laura's clothing has been worn by models in fashion shows and in magazines all over the world. Vanity Exposed Clothing has been sold on several third-party websites such as Amazon, Sears, Zulily and
small boutiques from California to Australia.
As the years went on and their second son was born, Vanity Exposed Clothing took a break.
Over the past several years Laura & John have built the business even stronger.
They design custom logos and artwork for apparel, sports uniforms and clothing accessories.
We have recently started to offer promotional products.
